We had a little Cat Party yesterday, to welcome Idun the #mainecoon to the family. She behaved impeccably, true to her Maine Coon personality, and was both laid back and beautiful. Many a writer, many a cat lover, will be familiar with this scene. How a puss loves to be close when we are working! Sprawled across a keyboard, typing chivgucgcutc nonsense to aid our authorial blocks. I’m delighted Idun’s animal behaviour is in keeping with her species. Happy Easter my friends. Many people have said to me they are exhausted. Me too. So let’s take time out, sleep, rest. Channel your inner cat, in other words, and elbow out your human tendencies to over analyze and be critical.
