Idun, our Maine Coon, is definitely pregnant. Litter due second week in December, a week after my hospitalization to have all the pins currently holding my knee together removed. Christmas will be chaos. I’ve not been in charge of a litter of kittens before but I’m doing lots of homework. And if anyone is interested in having a kitten let me know. They’re very happy being indoor pets as they’re known for being curious to the point of endangering themselves. Before she was pregnant Idey got into bed with our next door neighbours, who have a cat of their own so were somewhat nonplussed to have her ‘boing!’ onto the mattress in the night as if it were quite acceptable feline behaviour. 🙀😮

I’m going back into hospital on December 5 to have all the pins currently holding my knee together removed. If I get the chance to bring the op forward I’ll snatch it, but that’s the current plan. I’ll then have to rest up over Christmas in a house full of kittens (I jest not, Idun is definitely pregnant), and in January should have a new knee. (There has to be six weeks between the two ops.) Forgive the self-focused update but people keep asking and I can’t personally phone or message each individual. Luckily there’s an illustration I drew several years back which fits the subject matter. Sending luv to you all. (And let me know if you want a Maine Coon kitten. We cannot possibly keep them all!)
